Senior Product Manager

Hybrid — Calgary, AB | Remote — Vancouver, BC $135,000–150,000 Posted: July 28, 2026

At Thrive Health, we're on a mission to make healthcare work better for Canada. Our digital care coordination platform connects people, data, and care across the entire health journey – empowering individuals and health professionals alike.

As an AI-first company, we're building products that place people at the centre of care by enhancing care delivery, improving patient experiences, and helping clinicians focus on what matters most.

If you're passionate about improving the healthcare system, bring an ambitious and creative spirit to complex tasks, and "thrive" in a fast-paced, start-up environment, you've come to the right place.

The Opportunity

We're hiring a Senior Product Manager to be the integrative, problem-solving force behind our healthcare products, connecting clinical and patient needs, business priorities, and software development to ship products that measurably improve care. You'll own outcomes, not just output, accountable for products that scalably solve the most important problems for clinicians, administrators, and patients. Working with a cross-disciplinary team to discover, validate, and rapidly build products, you'll deeply understand the problems of our users, customers, and domain experts, then design the solution and partner with development teams to deliver it.

Responsibilities

  • Own product outcomes by defining, tracking, and reporting the metrics that show your product is improving patient outcomes, clinical efficiency, and adoption;
  • Run continuous discovery through regular conversations with clinicians, administrators, patients, and prospects, turning insight into validated, prioritized requirements;
  • De-risk before you build through prototypes, experiments, and A/B tests, reshaping or killing ideas that don't hold up;
  • Own product design end-to-end by shaping the UX directly, from problem framing through wireframes, flows, and usability validation, meeting accessibility standards;
  • Partner with Development to scope estimates, manage the backlog and roadmap, and negotiate platform and technical debt investment;
  • Own integration and interoperability requirements, including EMR and health system connections, data standards such as HL7 FHIR, and identity;
  • Manage the full lifecycle of what you own, from validation and launch through iteration and, when the time comes, deprecation and migration;
  • Apply AI and LLM capabilities where they create real value, and use AI tools to accelerate your own discovery, analysis, and delivery;
  • Align a cohesive product vision with your product peers and communicate it clearly across the organization;
  • Drive go-to-market with BD, Marketing, and Customer Success, covering launch readiness, adoption, enablement, pricing and packaging input, and post-launch feedback and escalations;
  • Represent the product directly with customers and prospects through demos and requirements gathering, and support RFP responses and security/privacy questionnaires;
  • Create the customer-facing and internal materials the product needs, including documentation, presentations, release notes, and training;
  • Track partners and competitors to anticipate industry trends and sharpen our market positioning;
  • Mentor less-experienced product managers and improve the processes and frameworks the product team runs on.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing product requirements for B2B SaaS products, with a demonstrated success defining and launching a product or feature;
  • Strong product discovery skills: regular user conversations, evidence-driven decisions;
  • Data fluency: comfortable defining metrics, instrumenting products, and using analytics to prioritize and measure impact;
  • AI-native: hands-on experience with current LLM technology, applied both in products and in the practice of product management;
  • Hands-on product design and UX skills: comfortable owning the design yourself, from wireframes and flows to usability validation;
  • Deep understanding of product strategy, with the ability to identify underserved areas in a target market;
  • Ability to distill complex problems into simple, iterative solutions, with the scope discipline to say no;
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, with experience working alongside agile teams.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in healthtech, clinical, or another regulated, high-trust domain (privacy, security, compliance);
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards and EMR or health system integration.
