Thrive Health named finalist in the category ‘Gamechanger - Diversity & Inclusion’ award at the 2023 Technology Impact Awards

Thrive Health is proud to announce they have been named a finalist in the category of ‘Gamechanger- Diversity & Inclusion’ at the BC Tech Association’s 30th Annual Technology Impact Awards (TIA Awards). This recognition highlights Thrive’s unwavering commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive organization, and promoting these values in the technology sector. 

Thrive Health’s dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion is at the core of their mission, driving transformative change by building technology for a more equitable healthcare system. The company’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee empowers employees with initiatives aimed at removing bias and barriers within their organization, building inclusive teams and products, and cultivating a sense of belonging. These initiatives include workshops, training seminars and partnerships with advocacy groups  Internally, the committee has also introduced several policies, including allowing employees to re-allocate Thrive Health’s company-wide break at the end of December to other cultural holidays that they celebrate.

Commemorating its 30th year, the Technology Impact Awards celebrate innovation, leadership and excellence in the BC technology community. Hosted by the BC Tech Association, this event brings together industry visionaries and innovators from across BC to recognize outstanding contributions to the technology ecosystem within the province and across Canada.
