Vancouver, BC, 16 Nov 2022 - Thrive Health has been ranked #1 in Deloitte’s 2022 Technology Fast 50 Companies to Watch list. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the award recognizes emerging companies based on their revenue growth percentage. The category for which Thrive Health is recognized, “Companies-to-Watch,” specifically celebrates fifteen start-ups that demonstrate exceptional potential for continued growth and leadership in their industry.
Thrive Health is a digital health platform company headquarted in British Columbia, Canada, whose mission is to make healthcare work better for everyone. They provide technology that enables enhanced access to patient data, and equips healthcare providers with tools to design custom care workflows according to individual patient needs. Through their interactive patient engagement platform, Thrive Health is helping to put patients at the centre of their care, and facilitate more data-driven clinical decisions. To date, Thrive Health has over 1.2 million users on their platform, and counting.
Central to Thrive Health’s recognition in the Technology Fast 50 program, is the significant revenue growth they experienced from 2018 - 2021. This growth is attributed to the impressive application of their technology to aid COVID-19 response across Canada. Just a few weeks into the pandemic, Thrive Health launched mobile applications in partnership with Health Canada and the BC Ministry of Health to keep Canadians up to date on the latest pandemic advisories and track their symptoms. Thrive Health also developed the WorkClear product in partnership with LifeLabs for PCR testing, and provided technology for Canada’s largest enterprises and universities to manage rapid testing and vaccine declaration.
Thrive Health is continuing to grow their business, and is currently developing relationships with customers and partners in the United States such as major health systems, clinics, large retailers, and data visualization companies. They are launching several new products, including Circle, a digital health concierge for employers, and custom-built patient workflows for diabetes and cancer survivorship.
“Congratulations to this year’s Companies-to-Watch winners,” commented Anders McKenzie, partner and national leader for the Technology Fast 50 program at Deloitte Canada. “These companies have demonstrated promising growth trajectories and an exemplary ability to seize opportunities even in the face of a challenging economic context. This sets them apart as members of an emerging cohort of tech leaders in Canada. We look forward to keeping an eye on their progress in the months and years to come.”
